James Edwards is recorded working in Stourbridge, Worcestershire fem 1828 to 1860. He worked first in the High Street, and subsequently in Hagley Road. He was the first clockmaker to make skeleton clocks on a relatively large scale, and he supplied other clockmakers with skeleton clock rams of his particular design.
