A top quality Victorian four glass mantel timepiece, the 4” square silvered engraved brass dial engraved ‘RR to RL April 26 1873’, the chain fusee movement stamped RR to the front plate. The ebonised case has glazed panels and a pedimented top, and stands 10 ½” high.

Vincenti c.1880
A French marble calendar clock with a two piece porcelain enamel dial indistinctly signed (possibly Leroy Freres, Paris), and exposed Brocot escapement, with two subsidiary dials for the date and day of the week. The striking movement stamped Vincenti to the backplate is housed in a Belge noire marble case with veined green side pilasters. Total height: 15"

An elegant early Victorian mantel clock, the silvered engraved brass dial signed 'Philcox's Patent No. 44'. The two train movement strikes on a bell, and now has a conventional anchor escapement. The ebonised case has fish scale side frets, simple ring handles, and restrained brass stringing, and sits on adjustable brass ball feet.

A decorative French ‘tole’ mantel clock, the sheet metal case with painted floral decoration to the simulated rosewood ground. The eight day movement is fronted by delicate ‘pierced moon’ hands, strikes the hours and half hours on a bell, and both the movement and the dial are signed ‘Delettrez, a Paris’.
