Haley London. c.1810

Stock No.3186
The dial and surround are turned out of a single piece of mahogany, with a slim cushion moulded edge, and as is often found on early wall clocks, the curved bottom door has no lock, but rather a simple turnbuckle catch.
Charles Haley, a distinguished maker, was apprenticed in 1762, and entered the Clockmakers Company in 1781, working in Wigmore Street, London, and dying in 1723.
