Couch, Fore St. Brixham. c. 1840

An attractive drop dial wall clock, the 12" diameter convex dial signed 'Couch, Fore St, Brixham', the fusee movement with shouldered shaped plates fronted by 'pierced moon' matching steel hands, in a mahogany case with slim dial surround carrying a cast brass bezel, and a small drop trunk with restrained brass inlay, and fan side 'ears'.
