A very fine tavern clock, the 18” diameter iron dial, signed Thos Knight, Thaxted, with ornate pierced steel hands, heavy  brass bezel, in a very fine mahogany case with ogee moulded foot, and delicate ornate ‘ears’, the movement with a heavy brass bob to the pendulum, and rectangular lead weight.
