A Georgian wall dial clock, the 12” diameter silvered engraved brass dial with arabic minute and roman hour numerals, the fusee movement with verge escapement and unusually shaped plates, fronted by steel decorative hands, in a mahogany one-piece case with top and bottom salt box projections, and a turned mahogany bezel.

There are several makers of this name recorded working at this time. This is probably by the William Hunter who was working in Fenchurch Street from 1802 - 1804, although the style of the clock suggests an earlier date.
