A French 'exhibition' skeleton timepiece with alarm under a glass dome. The alarm mechanism is located in the ebonised base, with remote pull winding and setting from outside the glass dome. The delicately engraved brass frame has silk suspension, and carries a small porcelain enamel chapter and pierced moon hands. Total height, (without dome) = 9".
